Had a lovely time here. The staff were super friendly, especially a lady named Kaye who took care of us like we were family. The room was really spacious and comfy, perfect after a long day. One thing tho, the food options for dinner felt kinda fast food-ish. But the breakfast was a win, really hit the spot!

i've stayed in chesterfield before, but this time at the old house truly surpassed my expectations. the room was spacious, with a comfy bed and excellent shower. every breakfast was hearty, packed with variety, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay.

The pub has an awesome kids playground and spacious rooms perfect for families. The fish and chips were incredible.

Found the morning atmosphere a bit noisy due to early deliveries disrupting the peace. A broken wall lamp and a problematic window catch didn’t exactly enhance the ambiance. Bathroom issues included black mould on the shower screen silicone, which is pretty off-putting. Breakfast hours felt limited. an extended time would accommodate late risers better. The breakfast offerings were basic and unremarkable, while the dinners were decent but charging extra for sour cream with chilli seemed excessive.

We had a fantastic stay here! Really great value, quiet and cozy. The beds were comfiest I’ve experienced, and the staff were lovely and helpful. It's in walking distance to a nice park as well, which added to our enjoyment. The only downside was the dining options, as they didn't quite meet expectations. would gladly stay here again!

The bathrooms need a serious update, as they seem outdated and unwelcoming!!! navigating through the hotel can feel overly complicated at times, which is frustrating when trying to find your way around!!!
